Dirk started consulting and training in 1989 with various companies. He completed two masters degrees; one on Social Sciences at Utrecht University and one on Organizational change at Amsterdam University. He has also undertaken a four year study on personal leadership based on the material of Carl Gustav Jung.
In 1992 Spangenberg Consultants was formed, and he has been a partner at STOA (advisors to organizations) since 1996. His professional focus is with change in structure, culture and leadership. As such he worked among many others with Price Waterhouse Coopers, Levi’s, ABN AMRO bank, Heineken, UMC Nijmegen, University of Applied Sciences Leiden and ConQuaestor. He is at work where people are important, personal effectiveness matters and the leaders in organizations think working on sustainability makes a difference.
